Sports, Junior Basketball - Junior Basketball PreK *If your childs grade is full please add to waitlist or email. We will be working on adjusting to get as many kiddos in as possible.The Jr. Basketball program is designed to introduce/build upon fundamental skills- dribbling, passing, shooting, court positioning, and game play. Each age group will look a little different and the structure will be outlined below. Our coaching staff will introduce, instruct, demonstrate, and referee the drills and games.Pre K- This group will focus on introducing and practicing dribbling, passing, and shooting the basketball in a fun and developmentally appropriate format. This group will focus on skills and drills while also reinforcing expectations with following instructions, group participation, and parallel play with their friends.Kindergarten- This group will receive instruction and practice on fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting while also learning the difference between offense and defense. The majority of each session will be skills and drills and we will work up to competitive games.1st Grade- This group will practice fundamental skills while introducing more details regarding rebounds, fouls, court positioning, and enhancing the understanding of the game. This group will focus on skills and drills while also reinforcing expectations with following instructions, group participation, and parallel play with their friends.Kindergarten- This group will receive instruction and practice on fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting while also learning the difference between offense and defense. The majority of each session will be skills and drills and we will work up to competitive games.1st Grade- This group will practice fundamental skills while introducing more details regarding rebounds, fouls, court positioning, and enhancing the understanding of the game. The end of each session will be a cross-court scrimmage where players can practice the skills in a game format. 2nd Grade- This group will use drills to hone in on fundamental skills. In January, full court games will occur after the skills and drills sessions on Saturdays, more details will become available as we approach January.Grades 3-4- By popular demand, we added this session to help 3rd and 4th graders develop skills and build confidence. Roughly half the session will be dedicated to skills and half to game simulation.Exclusion Dates: TBD *Start times subject to change based on registration numbers.

Sports, Junior Basketball - Junior Basketball 2nd Grade *If your childs grade is full please add to waitlist or email. We will be working on adjusting to get as many kiddos in as possible.The Jr. Basketball program is designed to introduce/build upon fundamental skills- dribbling, passing, shooting, court positioning, and game play. Each age group will look a little different and the structure will be outlined below.
