GNG Recreations SOAR program provides care for middle school students after school. To Help fill the gap during each season we are now offering SOAR Expansion. This program will be for middle school athletes and club members who need Gap Care before or after sports practices/games and Club meetings. This care has a $25 non-refundable deposit per season that must be paid along with filling out a Student information Card before utilizing the SOAR Expansion program.
Families will then sign up for the days their student needs care before or after sports/clubs- this is $20 a day. Students will be responsible for walking between the SOAR classroom and practices/meetings unattended. Home work time is a required part of this program and students will need to have homework, a book to read, or another individual quiet activity to work on during this time (electronics may only be used for school work and will be monitored)
The expansion program is designed for athletes and club members who need a partial afternoon coverage- either from after school until practice/meeting or if practice/club is directly after school the gap between practice/club ending and 5:30. Full afternoon care is a separate sign up under SOAR Drop in Days.
