BEST OF BROADWAY
Do you love to sing? Do you love to dance? Then this is the class for you! Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned actor, everyone will learn something in this fun class. We will explore what it means to be “Broadway Awesome” as we learn songs and dances from some of your favorite Broadway shows including Sound of Music, Grease, Annie, Moana and more!
Spring 2020- Broadway for Beginners- Wizard of Oz
Come learn the fundamentals of musical theatre in this fun class! Kids will learn the basics of acting in addition to vocal technique and simple choreography - skills that they can use in any future production. Students will showcase what they've been working on in a performance of songs and scenes from the productions listed below.
The first session will be auditions- each child will select which roles they'd like to play and will read audition scenes for that part. The second session will be call backs. During call backs, the director will ask actors to read for specific parts. By week 3, roles will be announced.
